Creative ideas against stop advertising stickers wanted

Swiss Post is focusing on the young and is involved as this year's main sponsor of the ADC Young Creatives Awards. The aim is to reduce the number of stop-advertising stickers.

The creative challenge for the 8th ADC Young Creatives Award comes from Swiss Post. The number of Stop-advertising stickers in Switzerland is growing every year. Currently, almost 50 percent of all households in Switzerland have a stop-advertising sticker. Companies use unaddressed advertising mail to publicize their products and services, among other things. In doing so, they want to achieve the greatest possible reach. Swiss Post is therefore keen to reduce the number of stop-advertising stickers.

You can find out more about the content of the briefing at the warm-up event on September 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the ADC Galerie, Zentralstrasse 18, in Zurich.

Registrations for the briefing event are open now at Adc.ch possible. In addition to Swiss Post, which is the main sponsor of the new Direct category, the organizer is pleased to have the support of sponsors APG|SGA Out of Home Media, Swissfilm Association, Streuplan and Keystone. Keystone will support the newcomers in gaining access to high-quality image material. The three remaining sponsors represent, as before, the categories Outdoor, Cyber (Digital) and Film.

Media support for Switzerland's most important creative competition for young talent is provided by Persönlich and Werbewoche. The youth channel Joiz is also on board. The organizers are ADC Switzerland, supported by BSW Swiss Leading Agencies and presented by Publicitas. There are four coveted ADC Young Creatives Awards to be won. The three winning teams from the categories Outdoor, Cyber and Film will travel to the international "Young Lions Competition", to the advertising festival in Cannes, where they will officially represent Switzerland next year. The winners from the Direct category will also travel to Cannes. Although their work will not be admitted to the competition in Cannes, they will be there as guests.
