Corinna Rota new on the Board of the International Advertising Association IAA

At the 59th General Assembly of the International Advertising Association, Corinna Rota was elected to the Board of the IAA Swiss Chapter. She is Head of Account Management at Ringier Advertising.

At the invitation of the International Advertising Association, members and guests of the IAA met on September 7, 2022 for the 59th General Assembly, the subsequent Trendtalk and Summer Party.

On the Trendtalk stage at the fully booked IAA evening event in Zurich, was internationally sought-after speaker and neuropsychologist Dr. Jonathan Mall. With his innovative, groundbreaking market research approach, the keynote speaker and entrepreneur helps big brands tailor their communications to the unconscious needs of their customers.

Before the big annual meeting with advertising clients, agency and media representatives, the 59th General Assembly of the IAA took place. Corinna Rota, Head of Account Management at Ringier Advertising, was newly elected to the board of the IAA Swiss Chapter.

Arne Bergmann left the IAA Board at his own request to take up his new role as Managing Director of Jahreszeiten Verlag in Germany. Sven Roost, Managing Partner at Infeas has also decided to leave the IAA Board, but will remain with the association as Treasurer.

At the IAA Trendtalk, Dr. Jonathan Mall discussed how AI is enabling a new kind of brand positioning and automated content creation. After years of neuropsychological research, the data scientist has developed several successful Big Data solutions. In his current startup, NeuroFlash, Speaker Jonathan Mall uses artificial intelligence to simulate the subconscious associations of entire nations and decode the zeitgeist for global brands.

After the fully booked IAA Trendtalk with over 120 participants, the IAA invited its guests to an extensive summer party on the sun terrace of the Sorell Hotel Zürichberg. Despite the rain, members and guests enjoyed networking among industry colleagues until late into the night.
