Ruf Lanz: Small talk guide

Ruf Lanz shows for Autismus Forum Schweiz: What is self-evident for others, people with autism have to learn laboriously.

Since 2012, Ruf Lanz has been raising awareness of the various manifestations of autism on behalf of Autismus Forum Schweiz. According to Nicole Ulrich-Neidhardt, President of the Forum, "Ruf Lanz's excellent campaigns have done a lot to promote understanding of people with autism". The individual manifestations of autism are varied. But all people with autism have impairments in social behavior in common: for example, difficulties making contact with other people and talking to them.

Ruf Lanz is now addressing this with a new surprising campaign. Theoretical instructions for small talk are printed on 15,000 beer mats. They are used where small talk is the order of the day and night: in bars and restaurants (including Yooji's, Iroquois, Totò and Bohemia). Resolution on the back: What is natural for others, people with autism have to learn laboriously. Therefore, they depend on understanding and support.

The text for the small talk guide comes from Bettina Jenny, psychologist and psychotherapist at the autism consultation of the Center for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Zurich.
