FCB Zurich wins gold at the Hub Awards

FCB Zurich won gold at the Hub Awards with the "Emography Project" for Sunrise/MTV Mobile.

The Hub Awards from New York have set themselves the following task: "Honoring excellence in brand experience". In other words, it is all about the consumer's brand experience. If a brand has really moved and touched people - ideas are evaluated according to these criteria. The unusual thing about this award is that it is not creative people who award prizes to creative people - as is usual at the Cannes Lions or the ADC Switzerland - here the prize is awarded to the agencies by marketers and leading academics.

This honor has now been bestowed on FCB Zurich with the "Emography Project" for its client Sunrise/MTV Mobile. And with the highest of all awards in gold. The work secured the prize in the "Digital Brand Experience" category.

Behind the "Emography Project" is an app that converts feelings directly into certain typographies. For example, if you are angry, you can write with a stinky finger. Or if you are sad, the typography consists of tears. A font was developed for each of the eight basic human emotions. The result is a completely new messaging service for MTV Mobile's young target group.

The idea was awarded gold by the jury with the following comment:

"This took a simple idea, made it consumer-relevant, and brought it to life at the key moment-of-truth." This award is a further accolade for the agency, after the app already brought a Bronze Lion back to Switzerland from Cannes.
