IAB invites to the Digital Marketing Award 2013

On November 21, 2013, the "Digital Marketing Award" will be presented for the fourth time. In the afternoon, IAB Switzerland will be hosting presentations and a panel discussion as part of the VIP event "Digital Marketing Summit".

Guests can look forward to the presentation of the "Digital Pioneer of the Year", "Digital Marketer of the Year" and the "Digital Life Time Award" at Kaufleuten in Zurich, which will be presented by Claudio Zuccolini.

The "Digital Marketing Award" is the most important industry event in the Swiss digital advertising sector. The focus is on exceptional projects and achievements by companies and individuals. More than 400 advertisers, agencies and interested parties are expected to attend the awards ceremony and the subsequent party. Thanks to the participating sponsors and IAB Switzerland, admission is once again free. The nominees for all three categories will be announced five weeks before the awards ceremony. The "Digital Marketer of the Year" will once again be chosen in advance via an online public vote.

As a new feature, the "Digital Marketing Summit" will take place in the afternoon from 2 p.m. onwards, offering a series of exciting specialist presentations, case presentations, a keynote address and panel discussion.
smama President Andreas Schöneberger will kick things off with a talk on "Mobile devices are really getting smart". Afterwards, Alexander Jaggy, Executive Creative Director at Jung von Matt/Limmat, Bernhard Herzig, CEO and Partner, and Nihad Nasupovic, Screen and Motion Designer at Maxomedia, will talk about their success at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Reto Hufenus, Head of Business Development at Publisuisse, and Tobias Asch, Co-Founder of Filmwords, will talk about the marriage of online and TV.

The highlight of this year's "Digital Marketing Summit" is the keynote speech by Karin Frick, Head of Research and Member of the Executive Board of the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute, entitled "The Age of Transparency - From Customer Loyalty to Customer Liberation". The presentation will use examples from everyday life to show how Big Data will change the relationship between consumers and companies and thus our lives and experiences.

Finally, a panel discussion awaits the guests of the VIP event: Among others, Matthias Ehrlich, President of the BVDW Germany and Manfred Strobel, CEO OMD Switzerland and Omnicom Media Group Switzerland will address the following topic: "Digital Business Models in Switzerland: Does the Market Scale Too Little?" - Advertiser, media agency, marketer/broker, publisher: Are the two intermediaries increasingly being "automated" away?
