Change in the management of Scout24 Switzerland

Andreas Schrag is the new Director of Marketing at Scout24. The 39-year-old from Berne replaces Frank Gerber, who after twelve years as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is taking the step into independence, but will remain with Scout24 as an external consultant.

With Andreas Schrag, the Scout24 Group is gaining a proven expert in the Internet industry, according to a statement. The graduate business economist gained his first professional experience in the areas of online marketing and e-commerce at Maxomedia. After joining the company as a junior project manager in 2006, Schrag worked there as a project and consulting group manager until 2010. He then accepted an offer from Goldbach Interactive. As a member of the management board, Andreas Schrag was responsible for the Websites, Shops and Portals business unit. He led a team of more than ten consultants who were involved in the conception and implementation of web projects and business solutions on the Internet.

Andreas Schrag's task is to consolidate and further optimize the positioning of the Scout24 portals. The network includes, for example, Autoscout24.ch, Immoscout24.ch and Jobscout24.ch.

His predecessor, Frank Gerber, has decided to go independent after 12 years of service within the Scout24 Group. During his tenure, he was responsible for building up a professional marketing organization. Frank Gerber will continue to support Scout24 as a consultant and oversee various projects.
