Lemongrass Communications with new partner

Peter Hartmeier, most recently head of communications at UBS Switzerland, is joining the Lemongrass Communications team as a partner with immediate effect. In his new role, he will serve as a consultant to companies, organizations and individuals.

Peter Hartmeier will complement the existing partners Karin Rhomberg, Karin Mari, Cornelia Schmid and Andreas Hildenbrand. In addition, he will continue to be active in journalism, moderating challenging discussions and pursuing his own projects, according to a statement issued by the agency on Friday. Peter Hartmeier previously worked at Badener Tagblatt, Weltwoche, Politik und Wirtschaft and Bilanz. From 2002 to 2009, he was editor-in-chief of the Tages-Anzeiger. He then held publishing and journalistic responsibility for the Thurgauer Zeitung as Chairman of the Board of Huber & Co. During his career, he was also Managing Director of the Swiss Press Association and Head of Corporate Communications at Tamedia. Most recently, he was Head of Communications at UBS Switzerland from June 2010 to the end of November 2012.

Lemongrass Communications was founded in 2005. Eight employees work for the agency. Its clients include listed and private companies from Switzerland and abroad, companies in crisis or turnaround situations, sponsors and organizers of sports and cultural projects, non-profit organizations and exposed individuals. In 2012, Lemongrass Communications was named PR Agency of the Year for the fourth time in a row in a survey conducted by the trade magazine Schweizer Journalist.
