Forster Ehrler: Facebook 100 years ago

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bern-Zollikofen Railway, the Forster Ehrler agency created a campaign for Bern-Solothurn Regional Transport using Facebook from the past.

When the Bern-Zollikofen Railway opened on July 13, 1912, people were able to travel quickly and easily to work, visit relatives or meet friends in the surrounding area for the first time. A social network was created that enabled people to connect with the people in their lives and share content with them. Forster Ehrler therefore created a campaign for the 100th anniversary of the BZB with Facebook from the old days. You can read the posts of ordinary people as well as some prominent contemporaries who lived in Bern at the time. In addition to Karl Tellenbach and Elisabeth de Meuron, international celebrities such as Einstein, Hesse and Hodler also have their say.

The campaign will be launched with cinema spots, advertisements, posters and a raffle on the anniversary day.
