Yellow makes history for Kestenholz

At Kestenholz Automotive Holding, the third generation takes the helm. The garage group had this milestone in the company's history documented by the strategic creative agency Yellow. For this purpose, the team developed and implemented a special edition of the customer magazine and an online platform.

Kestenholz Automotive Holding, based in the Basel and South Baden region, was founded in 1952. At the beginning of the year, the second generation handed over to the third, placing responsibility for 630 employees and over 46,000 private and corporate customers in the hands of the founder's grandchildren. The family business had this significant milestone in the history of the original garage business captured and illustrated communicatively by the strategic creative agency Yellow.

In close cooperation with the owner family, the company's history, which will soon span seventy years, was processed on its own Internet platform and recorded for future generations. Videos with anecdotes from partners, people in charge at Mercedes and family members, as well as photos from the family archive, are intended to bring the history of the Swiss company to life for those interested.

The platform also ventures a look into the future and completes the documentation with current figures. In the special edition of the customer magazine, celebrities from the worlds of culture, sports, and science explain what a generational change means and how they are preparing for the future. The special magazine is sent to all customers, and the online platform is available at History.kestenholzgruppe.com open to the public.
