In terms of audience numbers, 2022 was a good year, the Museum of Communication announced Thursday. It was the third best result in history, it said. So far, the hundred thousand mark was cracked only twice.

In the area of sustainability, the institution is a role model in the museum world. Energy consumption is 30 percent lower than it was a good ten years ago, the museum writes in the statement. The buildings are operated without fossil energy and the museum team had to get used to cooler rooms and climbing stairs.

This sustainability is also reflected in the current exhibition "Planetopia. It consists of 90 percent recycled material and deals with climate change. It can be seen until July 23.

The Museum of Communication is planning a new exhibition on the theme of "nothing" for November. However, it did not want to reveal more about this yet. (SDA)
