Walker is the new lead agency for Thomy

As part of the biggest repositioning of the traditional Swiss brand in 50 years, Thomy's marketing mandate was put out to tender.

In a multi-stage strategy and creation pitch, Walker convinced the brand managers at Nestlé and prevailed against three international network agencies. The integrated marketing concept includes both above-the-line and below-the-line advertising measures and is already in the production phase. The new Thomy campaign will be seen from spring 2018.

Marco Zanchi says: "Thomy is an icon: 98 percent of the Swiss population knows the brand and products such as mayonnaise and mustard are an integral part of every Swiss refrigerator. But Thomy can do more than mayonnaise and mustard and has proven this many times in the past with its innovations: in 1934, for example, Thomy invented mustard in a tube - and thus a convenience product long before the term even existed." For 2018, Thomy has now set itself even more goals. In the reorientation of the brand, he said, the company has found a strong creative partner in Walker to bring new wind to the traditional Thomy brand. "We are looking forward to the collaboration."
