Last but not least: Ikea writes family history
Statistically, about one in ten Europeans has been created in an Ikea bed, the Swedish furniture store claims. A new campaign is a pictorial reminder of this.
The print posters show family trees that not only reveal who descended from whom, but also who was conceived in which Ikea bed. The ancestry pictures go back to the 1940s, to the time of Ikea's first bed models. "Where familiy starts" is the name of the campaign, for which the agency Thjnk from Hamburg is responsible.
The family trees also suggest that only the children of the youngest generation were also conceived on Ikea tables or Ikea washing machines. Whether this is also statistically proven? (sis)
