Swiss Mountain Aid's "Kauderwelsch Ad Engagement" campaign was named "Campaign of the Month" for February. With this award, Capture Media recognizes the outstanding performance and educational implementation of the quiz-based awareness campaign.

The campaign focuses on the Schwyz dialect and tests users' understanding of it. They are shown a term in the Central Swiss dialect, the meaning of which can be guessed in a classic quiz format with three possible answers. The users mainly have Interacts with the ad via mobile devices. At 3.62%, the ad engagement rate over the entire period is well above the benchmark of 2%.

The first quiz question tests your understanding of the term "Schmeitze". Almost half of the users recognized that this term refers to rain.

Through the educational approach of the campaign and the use of the Schwyz dialect, users were reached in a playful way and made aware of Swiss Mountain Aid. The quiz game arouses curiosity and motivates users to answer further quiz questions. As part of this campaign, Capture Media, in collaboration with Schweizer Berghilfe, chose an unobtrusive advertising format that leads to increased acceptance among users.

"We tried something completely new with this ad engagement campaign in quiz format. We are delighted with how well the quiz has fitted into our overarching image campaign and are very pleased with the results," says Nicole Lutz, Head of Public Fundraising.
