Guetzli against oblivion
For John Baker, The House has tracked down exceptional Guetzli recipes - and the people behind them. In the Christmas campaign, four senior citizens tell their Guetzli stories.
There are Christmas campaigns that do without the usual clichés and perhaps win our hearts for that very reason - like the current social media prank by The House. Without any kitsch, four senior citizens tell Guetzli stories from their eventful lives - and move not only the online community, but also visitors to the bakery: The Guetzli from Nelly, Marianne, Lydia and Eva have been available at John Baker since November 21. Part of the proceeds will go to the Swiss Alzheimer's Association.
Guezli with stories
While the usual Brunsli, Zimststerne, Anischräbeli and Mailänderli are being sold elsewhere, The House is launching the #MadeOfMemories campaign on behalf of John Baker. Contrary to the common Guetzli mainstream, this campaign aims to save baking traditions from oblivion. Together with John Baker, The House has tracked down exceptional Guetzli recipes - and the people behind them. Their recipes were baked in John Baker's bakery - and their stories immortalized on film for the online community.
Integrated fundraising
Numerous films and pictures of the protagonists and their Guetzlis, the production and sale of the baked goods will be regularly published on the John Baker website until Christmas and shared on the social channels Facebook, Instagram and YouTube tailored to the respective channel.
However, #MadeOfMemories not only manifests itself online, but also in real life: in extraordinary Guetzlis, an innovative bio-packaging concept and, last but not least, a fundraising campaign that is itself committed to combating forgetfulness: 1 franc per pack sold goes to the Swiss Alzheimer's Association.
