Webrepublic further expands UX expertise

The user experience of a website is increasingly impacting Google search results as a factor. The Zurich agency Webrepublic is therefore expanding its UX team and further developing its data-driven approach to solutions.

Core Web Vitals are a set of specific factors that Google considers important for the overall user experience (UX) of a website. With the update of these parameters rolled out starting in June, they directly influence the ranking of a website for the first time. A holistic understanding of the user journey with all aspects of the user experience is therefore essential for optimal placement in the search results, writes Webrepublic in a statement.

In order to support its clients with regard to the current changes, the Zurich agency is expanding its existing UX team. Dafina Abazi, who was trained at the School of UX in London and has experience in the field of digital experience, is now leading the two employees Philipp Hiemer and Pascal Misala. Together with SEO experts led by Martin Stadelmann and digital analytics specialists, they work on projects in the areas of UX design, UX research, conversion rate optimization, UX speed consulting and user journey optimization.

The team's philosophy is based on the data-driven interaction of UX, SEO and digital analytics components, which is central to the (desktop and mobile) performance of websites and apps, according to the release. Successful implementation of these synergies could lead to higher conversion rates, lower development costs and better overall customer retention and profitability, it added. According to Webrepublic, the approach is already being implemented in ongoing customer projects, including for LGT, the Zurich School of Economics (HWZ), and Cashgate.
