eStudios was founded in January 2017 by Blueglass Interactive as a subsidiary. Now the startup's management team has decided on a management buyout in order to be able to control and drive the dynamic growth even more directly.

The subsidiary of Blueglass Interactive is a provider of services around eSports reporting and consulting. Over the past three years, the eSports Competence Center has become a pioneer in the now booming gaming environment.

In the containers of Frau Gerold's garden in Zurich's West End, the creators of eStudios established a gaming center with 2 by 6 workstations for competitive gaming, commentator stations and a video studio for the production of live streams and video-on-demand broadcasts about the eSports action.

As part of the management buyout, Blueglass Interactive is separating from the subsidiary and placing it in the care of the management team around Tobias Egartner and Hakan Pazarcikli.

"The first 3 years of development of eStudios have brought immense and at the same time successful pioneering work. Now the time has come for us to tackle the next stage of development. I am extremely pleased to accompany the dynamic development in the environment of eSports as an entrepreneur. With our competent and versatile team, we are ideally equipped to satisfy customer needs in various areas of eSports," says eStudios CEO Tobias Egartner.

Blueglass remains faithful to eSports

However, the Zurich-based agency is not turning its back on Swiss eSports with this transaction: In the future, the agency will continue to operate the long-term UPC content marketing project in cooperation with eStudios as production partner eSports.ch.
