JvML and Decathlon start the spring season

In their first joint effort, Decathlon and Jung von Matt Limmat kick off spring together - and go camping for starters. The outdoor campaign is part of a comprehensive brand platform that the French manufacturer and retailer of technical sports equipment and clothing is launching in Switzerland.

The Decathlon brand has been present throughout Switzerland with 23 of its own stores since 2017 and enjoys a high level of recognition, especially in French-speaking Switzerland. Now the sporting goods retailer and manufacturer also wants to become the number 1 sports retailer in the rest of Switzerland. Supported by Jung von Matt Limmat.

Together, the Decathlon and Jung von Matt Limmat teams have developed a comprehensive advertising platform that will kick off in spring 2022 with an outdoor campaign. At the center is the own brand from own development: The Quechua tent from Decathlon. Thanks to innovative technology, the tent can be set up and taken down in just two seconds. In a broad-based campaign, which is broadcast throughout Switzerland and includes OOH, DOOH measures and social media assets, the tent makes the hearts of outdoor and festival fans beat faster.

At the core of the entire brand platform and thus also of the current campaign is the shared sports DNA of the Swiss and Decathlon. With an average of 4.5 sports per capita, the Swiss are completely committed to sports. Just like Decathlon: the employees of the in-house brands develop the products themselves, test them, and constantly improve them.
