Farner expands consulting in Zurich and Berne

Marcus Balogh joins Farner's financial communications department in Zurich as Senior Consultant. Raphael Monsch joins the creative team as Senior AD/Conceptual and Jürg Walpen joins the agency in Bern as Senior Consultant.

Mid May enters Marcus Balogh joins the agency as a Senior Consultant and will mainly work for clients from the financial sector as well as for international clients. Marcus Balogh holds a Master of Science Corporate Communication from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has extensive international experience. Based in Hong Kong, his previous role was Head Internal Communications of the leading listed pan-Asian insurance group AIA Group. Prior to that, Marcus Balogh worked as Head Group Internal & Executive Communications for Credit Suisse Group in Zurich, New York and Hong Kong. He gained journalistic experience as Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Credit Suisse's customer magazine Bulletin and as Editor and Key Account Manager of a media agency at the media companies Tamedia and Ringier.

Since February 1, supports Raphael Monsch the Farner creative team as Senior Art Director/Concept Designer. Raphael Monsch holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and has worked at various agencies such as Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, DraftFCB, Havas, MC2 and Interbrand. He also has extensive experience in event and experiential marketing, having organized and marketed the companies he founded, PureEvents and BrunchButler. Before joining Farner, Raphael Monsch spent several years in Los Angeles, where he worked as a freelance art director/conceptual designer.

Since the beginning of May strengthened Jürg Walpen the team in Bern as a Senior Consultant. He brings many years of experience from the communications environment in the federal administration. After five years as Project Manager Corporate Communications at the Federal Department of Justice and Police FDJP, the trained economist moved to the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications DETEC as media spokesperson in 2015. Previously, he was a member of the management and board of directors for the city and nightlife magazine "Bewegungsmelder," among other things.
