Cartwright joins Farner's executive management team

Farner brings on board Chris Cartwright - currently head of Burson Marsteller's Geneva office. As a member of the management team, Cartwright will establish and lead a new specialist area for internationally oriented clients.

Based in Lausanne and Geneva, Chris Cartwright joins the agency's management team and reports to CEO Roman Geiser, Farner announced in a statement Thursday. In his new role, Chris Cartwright is expected to further expand the advisory services offered to multinational companies, international organizations and sports federations. The goal of the new Corporate and International department, he said, is to strengthen the agency's expertise in implementing international projects and to complement its international network with Fleishman Hillard and other international partners.

After graduating in English and French from Leeds University in 1992, Chris Cartwright worked for several agencies in the UK and France. In 2008, he joined Burson Marsteller London and led the agency's Corporate and Crisis practice as well as its Technology practice for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2012, he was appointed Managing Director of Burson Marsteller's Geneva office. There he served clients in the commodities, financial services and technology sectors and advised international organizations.
