Futurecom: KSW report makes hospital world a digital experience

Futurecom has launched a new online magazine for Winterthur Cantonal Hospital. The magazine provides insights into modern medicine.

What progress has been made in the treatment of retinal diseases? What does a birth in hospital look like, and how can expectant parents prepare for it? What treatment methods are available at the KSW for a heart attack? And what therapies are available for children and adolescents with chronic diseases?
These and many other questions are answered by the KSW Reportthe digital magazine of Winterthur Cantonal Hospital. It is primarily aimed at patients and their relatives, but also offers employees, trainees and job seekers interesting insights into the diverse range of services offered by the second largest hospital in the canton of Zurich.

The aim of the KSW Report is to report in a well-founded yet comprehensible manner on the numerous specialist areas that are brought together under the umbrella of the KSW, Futurecom said in a statement. The detailed reports and interviews are supplemented by high-quality photo spreads and thus convey an authentic picture of everyday hospital life. The articles also appear in parallel in various print publications, such as the annual magazine "Live" or the monthly staff newspaper "37°".

Futurecom designed and implemented the KSW Report based on Word Press. Thanks to the convenient backend, the continuous updating of the content is carried out by the KSW's communications department. The KSW Report is thus not only an attractive, but also a cost-efficient communication channel of the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital.
