HWZ and GFM: Experts in Brand Leadership Graduated for the Second Time

The HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich and the GFM Gesellschaft für Marketing graduated 14 students from the CAS Brand Leadership certificate course in September 2015.

The diploma ceremony for graduates of the second execution of the certificate course took place in the restaurant "Mucho Gusto" in Zurich. The best graduation was achieved ex aequo by the groups with Adi Barmettler, Beatrix Imhof, Hugo Wyler as well as Barbara Bumbacher, Micaëla Raschle Grand and Thomas Zimmermann with a grade of 5.3. "An inspiring course with excellent lecturers who know how to illuminate "leadership brand management" in all facets, always linking the theoretical basics with practice," says Thomas Zimmermann, Head of Brand and Sponsoring at Postfinance.

Renowned lecturers

The CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) Brand Leadership program is dedicated to the multifaceted disciplines of holistic and strategic brand management. Lecturers include high-profile heads of major brands such as Thomas Amstutz (CEO Feldschlösschen Group) or Urs Riedener (CEO Emmi Group), top advertisers such as Dominique von Matt and Martin Spillmann, as well as leading academics such as neuromarketing expert Hans-Georg Häusel and professors Torsten Tomczak and Sven Reinecke from the University of St.Gallen. "We take brand leadership seriously and are proud that we can motivate real brand leaders as speakers for this special course," explains Peter Felser, who is responsible for the course together with Max Meister.
The next course starts in March 2016 and is aimed at executives with an affinity for brands who want to strengthen their strategic understanding of brands. Through guest lectures, case studies and excursions, the course combines the latest scientific findings with proven rules for success from practice.
