Jung von Matt seeks customs for Eichhof

Together with the representatives of the customs Treicheln, Bödelen, Chlefelen, Betruf, Wetterschmöcken, Maskenschnitzen, Bücheln and Kaisern, the Eichhof brewery is looking for a new custom.

Anyone who practices a Central Swiss custom can register on the website Onourculture.ch apply with a video. Eight finalists will be chosen by online voting and the votes of a jury of experts. In August, the final with the best eight candidates will be broadcast on Tele 1 in an evening show produced especially for the campaign. The eight customs representatives will evaluate the candidates. At the end of the show, a grant in the amount of 10'000 Swiss francs will be handed over to the winner.

The heart of the campaign is the table of Central Swiss customs. One of the last white coopers in Switzerland produced the work of art in 180 hours of manual labor. Eight customs are depicted on the table with lovingly designed pictures and decorations. One piece of the table is still unfinished: There, after the TV show, the picture of the new Central Swiss customs will appear.
