ADC Switzerland launches young talent category

At an extraordinary general meeting of ADC Switzerland on October 30, 2014, various motions and innovations were discussed and approved. Noteworthy is a new membership category.

According to the announcement, this is intended to underscore ADC Switzerland's efforts to become more involved in the training and promotion of young creative talent. Newly, the winners of the Young Creatives Award and/or the competition of the ADC/BSW creative school can become members of the "Young ADC" and are thus part of the club. The extraordinary thing about it: They are admitted as jurors at the next upcoming ADC jurying (shortlist and bronze on the first jury day). The young jurors will be divided equally into all jury groups by the jury chairman. "Active participation in the discussions with the best creatives in the jury groups, is the best training," ADC President Frank Bodin explains this step.

Young ADC members also have free access to all professional events in the ADC Gallery and the opportunity to apply for Creative Camps and events of the ADC of Europe (usually two camps per year, in which usually two creatives from Switzerland are allowed to participate). ADC President Frank Bodin and the Board were pleased that the proposal was approved by the very well attended Extraordinary General Meeting without any dissenting votes.
