Branders develops brand identity for Masi Wine Bars

Masi Agricola commissioned Branders to develop the look of the world's first Masi Wine Bar, which opened in Zurich on May 8, 2014.

The goal of the assignment to Branders was to give the new sub-brand an independent modern appearance while doing justice to Masi Agricola's Venetian roots. The basic concept creates the basis for an internationally multipliable and modular concept. In the implementation, all applications (print, online, labeling, interior branding) were developed, creating a platform for an enhanced experience of the Masi wine brand: the Masi Wine Bar.

Masi Wine Bar is intended to become a meeting place for fun-loving wine connoisseurs, serving only wines and grappas from Masi (Italy and Argentina) and the two associated wineries (Serego Alighieri and Bossi Fedrigotti). The food offer is entirely dedicated to Venetian cuisine.

Two partners are embarking on a joint journey for the first Masi Wine Bar in Zurich's Seefeld district: the Masi Agricola wine house and the family-run Bindella food and wine company. Sandro Vincenti, a longtime Bindella employee, provides the management, Luigi Marcato is the chef. Further bars are to be opened in various major cities around the world.

Responsible at Masi Agricola: Raffaele Boscaini (Marketing Director). Responsible at Bindella: Rudi Bindella junior (Innovation and Projects). Responsible at Branders: René Allemann (CEO), Marisa Güntlisberger (Brand Manager to the CEO), Soraya Gaouaoua (Brand Designer), Maria Fahringer (Executive Brand Designer) and Thomas Hausheer (Interaction Designer).
