HWZ launches brand management degree program

The HWZ is launching the "Brand Leadership" degree program in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Marketing. This is dedicated to the disciplines of holistic and strategic brand management. Experts from science and practice have been recruited as lecturers.

The course places a clear focus on the interdisciplinary nature of successful brand management. Brand leadership assumes strategic responsibility for the brand, defines what the brand stands for and makes this content effectively tangible for the various stakeholder groups. "The course conveys a new understanding of brand management in which the brand is at the center of entrepreneurial activity and offers up-to-date tools for value-enhancing brand management in the digital age," says Peter Felser, who heads the course together with Max Meister.

The "Brand Leadership" course lasts 20 days and is aimed at brand-savvy managers who want to strengthen their strategic understanding of brands. Through guest lectures, case studies and excursions, the course combines the latest scientific findings with proven rules for success from practice.
