Xeit looks behind the scenes of VBZ for 24 hours

The Xeit agency has created a microsite for VBZ on which users can see behind the scenes of Zurich's public transport company for 24 hours.

VBZ moves Zurich - 24 hours a day. The employees of Zurich Transport guarantee public mobility around the clock. Many aspects of this are well known to Zurich residents: They use streetcars and buses in the city every day and buy tickets at the points of sale. But what happens when the streetcars roll into the depot, what are the tasks of a streetcar maintenance worker and what exactly does the nocturnal track builder do at VBZ?

By means of a timeline as navigation, users can navigate on the Microsite View, listen to and experience everyday work reports from 24 VBZ employees. Through text reports, photo stream, videos and social media live stream, one is close to the people. The storytelling allows an open approach to topics such as "shift work" and does not gloss over anything, according to a statement. More unpleasant sides of the professions are also mentioned, such as cleaning work in the streetcar or the emergency deployment of ticket inspectors in the event of an accident. Potential applicants can thus take a look behind the scenes and get an attractive opportunity to get to know the professions of their possible future employer better.

The Swiss online full-service agency Xeit created the creative concept, designed and programmed the microsite. A mobile site was made especially for mobile users, with customized user guidance.
