The ADC Yearbook 2012 is here

The ADC Yearbook 2012 is available in stores from September. The "creative bible" of the Art Directors Club for Germany compiles all the winning works of the 2012 ADC competition.

For the 48th time, the Art Directors Club honored the best creative works in the areas of Classic Media, Design, Editorial, Digital Media, Dialog Marketing/Promotion/Media, Spatial Staging, Craft and Holistic Communication. "Outstanding craftsmanship and emotional appeal" is how this year's jury chairman Harmut Esslinger, founder and long-time managing director of Frog Design, describes the award-winning creative works. With over 1,300 illustrations and many editorial contributions, the winning works of the ADC Competition 2012 are presented in the ADC Yearbook.

A novelty this year: The jury chairmen will present individual creative works in more detail in a "Judge's Choice". In addition, the ADC Honorary Member 2011, the ADC Client of the Year 2011 and the recipients of the ADC Lifetime Achievement Award 2011 are presented. Obituaries commemorate the late Vicco von Bülow, who had been an ADC Honorary Member since 1980, and ADC member and photographer Mats Cordt.

The creative works submitted to the ADC Competition 2012 had to pass the test in front of a jury of 338 ADC members. The jurors met for three days during the ADC Festival 2012 and selected the winners from around 6,600 works in 25 competition categories. One Grand Prix, 19 gold, 77 silver, 128 bronze ADC nails and 266 awards were presented.
