Jung von Matt/Limmat: Ewigi Liebi for Graubünden's biker paradise
Lenzerheide and Graubünden Ferien have launched a downhill karaoke. For a two-minute Dowhnill Karaoke video clip, 20 contributors pedaled and sang along to the Swiss hit "Ewigi Liebi".
The principle of downhill karaoke is simple. You swing yourself onto a bike, heat up somewhere on the 305-kilometer trail network of Lenzerheide down a slope and sing to the sound that is played through the headphones. The speed, the terrain and the fun of riding make for an unusual interpretation of the song. For example, every bump on the trail is directly noticeable in the song.
Padi Bernhard - the lead singer of Mash - made the beginning himself. This was followed by the downhill Swiss champion Emilie Siegenthaler, Fourcross vice world champion Roger Rinderknecht and the Alpchörli Vaz/Obervaz to name but a few. At the end it should be clear: "Downhill Karaoke - that's only on Lenzerheide".
