Rocket crafts giant shopping cart for Pilatusmarkt

Central Switzerland's Pilatusmarkt will be drawing attention to itself in future with a shopping cart over three meters high. The new below-the-line promotion concept is based on a giant shopping cart.

It stands next to the main entrance of the shopping center. However, it is often used for very different events. Just recently, the shopping cart was on display for a campaign at the Lucerne trade exhibition Luga. The task was to estimate the number of balls in the cart. The prizes were shopping vouchers from Pilatusmarkt Kriens. Over 18,000 people took part in the competition. The addresses collected will subsequently serve as the basis for a direct marketing campaign.

The new promotional idea was devised by the Lucerne advertising agency Rocket - Powerful Advertising. It prevailed over several agencies in a competitive presentation and won the Pilatusmarkt Kriens budget for alternative forms of advertising.

Responsible at Pilatusmarkt Kriens: Philipp Arnold (Center Manager) Jasmin Adam (Marketing). Responsible at Rocket - Powerful Advertising: Mathias Schürmann (Consulting), Beat Niggli (Creative Director), Désirée Luginbühl (Graphics).
