Euro RSCG: Facebook user reported missing

Euro RSCG Zurich has launched the "Dinner instead of Chat" campaign for the Commihalle restaurant. This brings Facebook users back to real life.

Every day, more than 2.2 million Swiss log onto Facebook and prefer to chat with each other rather than meet. But can an "XO" replace a real hug? Is a "nudge" as heartfelt as a pat on the back? Or an "LOL" as rousing as a funny laugh? The owners of Commihalle don't think so and are therefore calling for resocialization: with their "Dinner instead of Chat" campaign.

The campaign is designed to bring Facebook users back into real life. And it's aimed at anyone who wants to dine with Facebook friends again instead of having to "hang out" with them in an unheated chat room. What you have to do for it? Simply join the "Dinner instead of Chat" group on Facebook. The reward: anyone who signs up and brings three of their Facebook friends to the Commihalle will get their 3-course meal for free.

In order to draw attention to the social media campaign "outside" as well, missing persons ads of Facebook users who only spend their lives online appear at certain points in downtown Zurich. An appeal is made to real people to bring them back to real life.

The campaign and can be seen now on and offline.
