Goldbach Group: Sales growth in offline and online business

Goldbach Group announced its provisional net sales figures for 2010 on Tuesday. The advertising marketer increased its sales in both the offline and online segments.

The Goldbach Group, which is active in the advertising marketing of private electronic, interactive and mobile media, achieved sales growth of 7 percent in the 2010 financial year with its international companies in Germany, Austria, the Adriatic region and Eastern Europe. Net sales amounted to CHF 328 million. Adjusted for negative currency effects, the increase in sales amounts to eight percent, as the company announced on Tuesday.
 
The share of total sales generated with offline business was 64 percent (previous year 63 percent); 36 percent of total sales came from online business (previous year 37 percent). International business accounted for 21 percent of total sales (previous year: 20 percent).
 
The offline sector for marketing advertising time on private radio and television, with a focus on Switzerland, grew by 8 percent. In the online sector, sales growth amounted to 5 percent. The Romanian print business, which has not been part of the core business since the 2008 financial year, generated sales of CHF 7 million in 2010 (previous year: CHF 12 million). Including the print business, total Group sales amounted to 335 million Swiss francs (previous year 318 million). The Goldbach Group will publish the Ebit and definitive sales figures on March 3, 2011.
