The Imax, which is affiliated with the Swiss Museum of Transport, offers a special film system that gives viewers the feeling of being right in the middle of the action. This effect is created, among other things, by the largest screen in Switzerland, 25 by 19 meters. The placement of a 30-second spot costs 9600 Swiss francs per month. The Imax foyer is also available to advertisers for events and promotions.
Basler Zeitung launches IT page The Basler Zeitung is also jumping on the e-business bandwagon: Starting immediately, the business section on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be supplemented by the Wirtsch@ft page, which explains the New Economy to readers and introduces companies and people (e-people).
AZ to print 20 Minuten Basel and BernAZ Grafische Betriebe AG has been awarded the contract to print the editions of 20 Minuten for Basel and Bern, which are scheduled to begin in the fall. APG without price increaseIn time for the 2001 budget year, Allgemeine Plakatgesellschaft (APG) announces that it will forego a price increase for the B12, B200, B200L, and GF poster formats. Also unchanged are the campaign scale discounts and the BK/SBK advisory commissions. For world format B4, prices will rise by 1.6 percent. Discounts for volume and last-minute bookings will be set uniformly at 25 percent (previously: 40 percent and 34 percent, respectively). This is APG's way of absorbing the inflation that has built up over the past two years.
