Sought-after profession: marketing planner

This year 1222 (last year 1092) candidates took part in the 18th Marketing Planner Examination. 1143 have finished the exam.

This year, 1222 (previous year 1092) candidates took part in the 18th Marketing Planner Examination. 1143 completed the exam, proving that the Federal Diploma of Marketing Planner is by far the most sought-after diploma in Switzerland. According to Jürg Berger, president of the examination board, not only the number of participants has increased. The average pass rate is also the best in many years. 771 male and female candidates (male share: 61 percent) passed the examination. This represents an increase of around 11.5 percent over the previous year. Of the graduates, 708 came from German-speaking Switzerland, 42 from French-speaking Switzerland and 21 from Italian-speaking Switzerland. This year, seven candidates were awarded grades of 5 and above: Katja Wiesendanger and Roger Maurer with 5.2 each, Beat Bärtschiger Haefeli and Barbara Ritz with 5.1 each, and Thomas Merkli, Pius Graf and Rosmarie Wieser with 5.
