New creative director at Rosarot

Michael Schmidt will take over as head of the creative department at the Zurich agency Rosarot in April, strengthening the management team as creative director.

With many years of agency experience as a CD at agencies such as Scholz & Friends Berlin and Wirz, as well as CCO at kreisvier Communications in Basel, Michael Schmidt brings a wealth of cross-industry experience. He has been based in Switzerland since 2014 and has worked for clients such as IKEA, Feldschlösschen, Migros, melectronics, Mercedes, HALBA, Coop, Basel Tourismus and JUMBO.

"It was an immediate fit," Schmidt says of his meeting with Rosarot. "We share the same passion for good communication and design and approach our work with a lot of heart and soul."

The Rosarot agency is thus taking a further step in the implementation of its strategy, which focuses on the two areas of "Creation" (branding, campaigning, packaging) and "Activation" (SEO, SEA, social media, POS). With this focus, all know-how is bundled to help brands with extraordinary ideas and intelligent concepts to a boost.

"With Michael, we get a valuable addition who will strengthen our creation even further. We are proud of our know-how and the quality we offer today. And we are grateful to all our employees who make this possible," emphasizes René Karrer, the agency's founder.

Red is the fire, the power, the passion. White the purity, the clarity, the soundness. Together: ROSAROT. The boutique agency with heart and brains. Or simply: their "Brand Boosters". The advertising and design agency ROSAROT was founded in 2007 and today employs 23 people in Zurich.
