Daniel Bärlocher will become Hilda's new Managing Director as of the beginning of January 2023. He succeeds Hansruedi Imboden, who will support Hilda as Senior Advisor in the future.

The Zurich-based company was recently acquired by the Zug-based Hotz Group and integrated into its "Brand Leadership Circle" group of companies. This should enable Hilda to benefit from its know-how in data-driven, strategic corporate development and to substantially expand its own competencies in the area of sustainability consulting.

"I am very pleased that we have been able to gain a very experienced leader in Daniel Bärlocher," Fabian Hotz, chairman of the board and owner of the Hotz Group, is quoted as saying in a statement. "In addition to his many years of experience on the corporate side, including in the areas of sustainability and change management, he equally brings know-how in the management of a communications consultancy for internationally active companies."

Bärlocher joins from Swiss International Air Lines, where he served as head of communications for more than eleven years. In October, the airline had communicated his departure (Werbewoche.ch reported). Previously, Bärlocher was responsible for Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at the listed Charles Vögele Group. From 2002 to 2008, he worked in various functions for an international public relations agency in the Zug area, most recently as Head of Corporate Communications/Financial Relations and member of the Executive Board. He gained experience in management consulting and auditing after completing his master's degree in business administration from the University of Zurich at Balmer-Etienne. Bärlocher, 53, is married and has two children.
