From 2008 to 2010, 44-year-old Andreas Kunz worked for Ostschweiz Tourismus as a product and e-CRM manager and then managed the business of TSO St.Gallen, a company that looks after the digital marketing of Eastern Switzerland's tourism organizations, until 2018. Most recently, Kunz worked at AG as a team leader and consultant in the area of e-business. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences for Tourism Graubünden and holds a degree in Business Administration FH as well as an EMBA in General Management and Leadership, completed at the FHS St.Gallen.
"The challenging position as Head of Marketing & Communications fulfills my desire for opportunities to shape and influence destination marketing in our fantastically beautiful region and offers me the opportunity to further develop tourism in my home country," the tourism expert is quoted as saying in a statement. "Tourism marketing is becoming more demanding. Tourism today must develop an overall understanding that also includes the needs of the population and the environment."
