SevenOne Media acquires a 24.95 percent stake in Goldbach Audience

In response to increasing convergence in the media landscape, Goldbach and SevenOne Media are intensifying their cooperation. To that end, SevenOne Media is taking a 24.95 percent stake in Goldbach Audience.

Goldbach and SevenOne Media, a subsidiary of the German ProSiebenSat.1 Group, are adding a new business segment to their long-standing partnership. SevenOne Media takes a strategic stake of 24.95 percent in Goldbach Audience.

SevenOne Media will also contribute its entire online video and display inventory in Switzerland to the new cooperation for exclusive marketing by Goldbach from 2018. The online portfolio primarily includes Pro7.ch, Sat1.ch as well as ch.wetter.com and the multichannel network Studio71.

As part of the deepened cooperation, SevenOne Media and Goldbach Media extend the TV marketing contract. SevenOne Media's portfolio includes programming from Sat.1, ProSieben, Kabel Eins, Sixx, Sat.1 Gold, ProSieben Maxx and Puls 8.

Michi Frank, CEO Goldbach Group, is pleased about the strengthening of the partnership in a statement: "We are extending our joint success story. The deepened cooperation enables us to jointly develop convergent offers and products for the advertising market. This also strengthens our entire Group."

Andrea Haemmerli, Managing Director SevenOne Media Switzerland, is also pleased about the intensified cooperation with Goldbach: "With the contract extension for TV marketing, we are continuing our successful cooperation. At the same time, we're creating new opportunities with Goldbach Audience to invest together in strategically important future fields of online marketing in Switzerland."
