Editor-in-chief and Weltwoche owner Roger Köppel: "I warmly congratulate Florian Schwab on this promotion. I have unleashed myself from politics to promote the growth of the Weltwoche with even more energy and without conflicts of interest. Our unconventional journalism - independent, critical, good-humored - stands for diversity of opinion and peaceful coexistence. This goes down well, especially in times of opinion concrete, doomsday sentiment and confrontation. The traditional Swiss title Weltwoche celebrates his 90th birthday this year in the best of health. Now we are turning over a new leaf, in every respect. There are so many fields where we can still grow. I'm delighted and highly motivated to join Florian Schwab and my team in taking on this opportunity-rich and challenging task."
