SRF: Franziska Ramser and Gion-Duri Vincenz are the new hosts of the "Rundschau
The Rundschau and Rundschau Talk, SRF's political programs, are getting a new presenting duo. Franziska Ramser and Gion-Duri Vincenz succeed Dominik Meier and Nicole Frank.
After the summer break of "Rundschau" in August 2022, Franziska Ramser and Gion-Duri Vincenz will take over the moderation of the political program alternately with the same workload. They will also take over as hosts of "Rundschau Talk," which is broadcast four times a year during the session.
Mario Poletti, editorial director of "Rundschau" says: "With Franziska Ramser and Gion-Duri Vincenz, two long-standing and proven SRF political journalists are the new faces of Rundschau. They are up to all journalistic tricks and will give the show a new boost. I am very pleased."
Franziska Ramser began her journalistic career at the newspaper The Covenant and later reported from Berlin for the news agency SDA and various Swiss media. After the stage at Swiss television, she worked from 2011 as a reporter for the Tagesschau, "10 vor 10" and the Rundschau. Since 2018, Franziska Ramser has also been helping to shape the Rundschau journalistically as a producer. The 41-year-old has been deputy editorial director of the Rundschau for three years and will also remain in this role as a presenter.
Gion-Duri Vincenz has been strengthening the Rundschau team since March. After Ringier's journalism school, the 51-year-old worked for Southeast Switzerland as a federal house correspondent. From 2003, he was part of SRF's TV editorial team for the Federal Parliament, but had a wide range of activities beyond that. In addition to his research for SRF's news programs and information magazines, he also worked as a moderator and field reporter for voting and special broadcasts. In addition, he anchored the Tagesschau am Mittag, the 6 p.m. edition and the Tagesschau Nacht from 2006 to 2018, and later the Classe Politique program from 2014 to 2016.
Current "Rundschau" presenter Dominik Meier is moving to Radio SRF's Bundeshaus team. Nicole Frank has decided to seek a new challenge outside SRF. She took over from Sandro Brotz and later Dominik Meier as moderator at "Rundschau" at the beginning of 2018 and also moderated "Rundschau Talk" with them. Previously, she spent two years in the TV Federal House editorial department, reported for five years for Swiss television from Central Switzerland, and worked for Radio SRF in various functions for over ten years.
