ESH Médias: New digital presence for Le Nouvelliste, ArcInfo and La Côte

The ESH Médias Group launched the new versions of the digital platforms of its three flagship titles Le Nouvelliste, ArcInfo and La Côte on Tuesday. With this comprehensive redesign, the group aims to put internet users, subscribers and advertisers more in the strategic focus.

Starting Wednesday, two new editorial formats will be offered. The newsletter "La Matinale" aims to offer a clear opinion from members of the editorial team and a selection of the day's most important information, according to ESH Médias. The story format "Les Essentiels" is offered Sunday through Friday at 5 p.m. and summarizes the latest news.

In line with the increased interest of French-speaking Swiss in local information, the Group's editorial teams have revised their offering to reflect the new usage and consumption habits of users. Now, each Internet user can tailor the home page (Ma une) to his or her personal interests. Through "Mon alerte locale" each user receives a daily newsletter at 12 noon with the latest news from their community. In addition, Lenouvelliste.ch, ArcInfo.ch and Lacote.ch offer, free of charge, a personalizable notification system on a selection of specific topics or tags to be always informed in real time about current events.

According to ESH Médias, the new platforms should also offer greater reading and navigation comfort, and were therefore built with user experience, design, development quality and performance in mind. The omnichannel experience unifies the versions of the websites on desktop, mobile and the tablet apps, as well as the newsletters.
