Keystone shows the best press pictures in the world

For the eighth time, the Swiss photo agency Keystone is bringing the World Press Photo exhibition to Zurich. From May 7 to 31, 2015, the award-winning photographs will be on display at the Folium in Sihlcity.

On Thursday, February 12, 2015, the World Press Photo of the Year 2014 will be crowned in Amsterdam. Every year, the World Press Photo Foundation organizes the largest and most prestigious photo competition in the world. Thousands of professional photographers from all over the world submit their best work. An independent international jury headed by Michele McNally (head of picture editing at The New York Times) selects the winning photos in nine categories and chooses one image as Press Photo of the Year. All the winning images will then go on a traveling exhibition through 45 countries worldwide and to around 100 cities, impressing countless visitors.

From May 7 to May 31, 2015, Keystone will present World Press Photo 15 at the Folium in Sihlcity in Zurich as one of the first stops on the worldwide tour. The exhibition will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.) for all interested parties. In addition, guided tours as well as supporting events will take place.
