From shared apartment to brand for travelers: Ariv with rebranding

The Swiss serviced apartment provider Ariv has been given a new brand personality by the agency Allink and wants to make its transformation tangible.

The Swiss serviced apartment provider Ariv is evolving and wants to bring this transformation to life with a new brand personality. The rebranding was developed by the Allink agency. The new figurative mark is reminiscent of the dot symbol that marks a specific location on maps. The claim: "Apartments + Spaces".

Ariv offers quickly and flexibly available apartments with all the amenities of a hotel - plus shared spaces and a community. The aim is to offer expats temporary accommodation without wanting to compete with rental apartments. This positioning is to be summed up with the brand promise "Instantly at home".

From a shared apartment to a brand for travelers

The first Coliving Spaces opened in Basel in summer 2022. In spring 2024, the second prestigious location will open in Cham ZG with 71 apartments. The company plans to expand further in the future, for example to the cities of Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva. The new branding now aims to focus even more clearly on the target groups. "The rebranding is aimed at transforming Ariv from a shared apartment mainly aimed at students into a brand for community-oriented serviced apartments aimed at foreign professionals, business travelers and tourists," says co-founder Reto Schleier.

The new brand values: Arrive and feel right at home (Arrive). Relax and recharge in your private apartment while Ariv takes care of everything else (Unwind). Connect with the community and do things together (Connect). The visual language has also been rethought: an inviting visual style with a high recognition value is intended to arouse emotions and make the atmosphere at Ariv tangible.
