The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is known as the Swiss resort that was named "Best Wellness Hotel in Switzerland" by the Sonntagszeitung newspaper for the 9th time in a row in 2017. What is less well known is that the resort includes an internationally renowned medical center with over 30 interdisciplinary specialist areas that provide guests and patients with individual approaches and options for diagnostics, health maintenance (prevention) and healing (rehabilitation).

Jung von Matt/Brand Identity has summed up what Europe's leading Wellbeing & Medical Resort stands for with the brand essence "Immerse yourself in feeling better".

Whether you want to relax with pleasure, seek inspiring or exclusive experiences or actively do something for your health, at the Grand Resort guests immerse themselves in a world of peace and relaxation, for new strength and vitality.

Based on the centuries-old bathing and healing tradition, the Tamina spring is the lifeline and reason why the resort exists. For this reason, watercolour paintings were used as key visuals for the new appearance, which flexibly take up all the themes of the resort and visualize them in a differentiating way. The watercolor illustrations have a high degree of originality, ensure strong recognition and convey the value of the services.

The established wave in the Grand Resort logo has been simplified and now conveys the exclusivity and charisma of the renowned five-star luxury resort with a soft gold tone.To raise the profile of the Medical Center, its logo and appearance were given a newly defined blue tone of the wave and its content and visuals were revised.

The typography also appears more elegant and modern than before.

"With its new brand identity, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is setting a very important milestone for the future," says Claudia Herkert, Director of Marketing & Sales at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. The balancing act in the project was to please regular guests and attract new guests at the same time. "With the stylish, modern appearance, we are convinced that we will achieve this goal."
