Last but not least: Ch Tsch Tsch Tscheingefecht

Theophil Butz recently grumbled about the Tsch-Tsch-Marsmen in Werbewoche. Hopefully he hasn't seen the best Tsch-Tsch army in the world.

"It's summer, we want to rip our clothes off and forget everything, especially political correctness." Not a quote from Micaela Schäfer, but from Michèle Binswanger. Even if many people prefer to enjoy the arrival of summer with their clothes on, they at least increase the frequency of barbecues. And consequently the Coop frequency. Because, as the advertising teaches us, Coop is once again this year's barbecue champion. However, the commercials were not only met with approval. Whether it's the fire department or the Martian - you can't please everyone.

Werbewoche mothball Butz didn't have a good word to say about Coop's "puny, out-of-this-world E.T.". The "third-rate Martian" was "not only embarrassing, but even more tasteless" (like the fire department commercial). The agency - name known to the editors - had not understood how to develop a good, small idea. Butz's explanation can be here can be viewed - for once not only by subscribers. As always, well worth reading (even if I have to admit that I secretly found the Martian a little funny).

Speaking of third-class: You can currently see another Tsch-Tsch commercial. This time, the best army in the world plays the leading role. As with The Martian, it takes a great deal of effort to distinguish fiction from reality. Vague clues: With their felt uniforms, the soldiers look as if they will go straight into active service after the next barbecue. The strange green jeep in the background exudes more Ostalgie than Swissness. General Guisan personally leads the parade. The last time the Swiss army was portrayed in such an unrealistic way was by Melanie Winiger in "Achtung, Fertig, Charlie". A refreshing change, given that Blick & Co. report almost daily on Hamburg baptisms with a main course of cat food and rotten fish.
