Anyone who was young in the 90s is likely to have a flashback experience or two when watching this commercial. Even if many of us have changed browsers in the meantime.

The reputation of the Internet Explorer browser has also been better - the 90s send their regards. Security vulnerabilities and Firefox have taken their toll on the once powerful Microsoft tool. What could be more obvious than a good campaign? A really good product perhaps, a Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Opera user would counter. But the aforementioned spot is really successful. In contrast to the Tamagotchi, Internet Explorer should obviously be given a new lease of life. (hae)
