Last but not least: Every rag counts

The magazine knows that not only every centime counts, but also every rag. This refers to African foreskins.

SRF - SRF 2 and Radio SRF 3 - is currently collecting money again with JRZ. JRZ on SRF, so to- but not easy to say. "Every centime counts" is the name of the glass box show that brings hundreds of thousands of Swiss people together in a collective celebration of charity every year. Together, they celebrate their shared generosity. Regardless of whether a love message flickers across the screen via text message or the new single is presented unplugged - it's not just the poorest people in the world who benefit from JRZ. Simply everyone, simply great!

Speaking of great: the cover of the current issue of Das Magazin is also worth mentioning. The play on words "Every rag counts" refers to the "hunt" for foreskins in southern Africa. In the service of health and in the fight against Aids, 20 million men are to be circumcised by 2015. Yes, there is apparently a connection between HIV infection and circumcision. Even though, according to the article, this has been scientifically discussed and questioned for 20 years, the WHO supports the project and lists the removal of the foreskin as an official preventive measure. The recommended article by Fabian Dietrich can be found at Themagazine.ch be read. (hae)
