JardinSuisse launches national TV campaign

With a new advertising film, JardinSuisse wants to appeal to a young, predominantly urban target group and create enthusiasm for the gardening profession.

At the heart of the campaign is a new promotional film which, with a surprising twist - natural garden on the moon - presents the gardening profession as fit for the future. Around 25 people were involved in the video shoot by the Arthio Productions agency, led by director Samuel Stefan. Behind the project is a clear goal that JardinSuisse is pursuing: To appeal to young adults, to surprise them and to point out the timeless relevance of the gardening profession.

Heinz Hartmann, Head of Vocational Training at JardinSuisse, has high hopes for the project: "In recent years, we have produced various films to advertise for young people - but what we have lacked is a short film that conveys the overriding message to young people that 'gardening is a cool profession! With the film, we cover exactly this message by showcasing the breadth and versatility of the gardening profession. We use the situation that the topic of natural gardens (biodiversity, sustainability, environment and more) is current in society. In a successful way, we also convey the message "Gardeners are needed everywhere and at all times".

The commercial will be shown on various TV stations throughout Switzerland and in all language regions from September 10, 2022, and will be accompanied by a cross-area social media campaign.
