We are all fans

The renowned Montreux Jazz Festival and UBS are linked by a long-standing partnership. On behalf of UBS, Freundliche Grüsse is developing the new campaign with various communication measures around UBS' involvement in the festival.

Thanks to its international appeal and regional roots, the Montreux Jazz Festival offers an incomparable atmosphere in a unique location. UBS has been a partner of the festival since 1988.

To put such a festival on its feet, a number of forces have to work together - sponsors, helpers, the local population and, of course, visitors and fans all contribute to its success. This is where we come in: Under the motto "We are all fans", the campaign unites all visitors and participants who together make up this unique event.

The black-and-white photographs of the powerful campaign create a link to classical concert photography, while the modern image content builds a bridge to the Montreux Jazz Festival. In addition to communication measures such as megaposters at the Montreux train station, branding of the UBS stand at the Montreux Music & Convention Center and the advertisement in the festival program booklet, the campaign subjects were also prepared for ATMs and e-screens in UBS branches. In addition, a 30-second spot was created to be shown before the concerts.

With the on-site measures, UBS draws the attention of festival visitors to the UBS Video Box in Park Vernex. Promotion teams are out and about as photographers, taking photos of the fans with a Polaroid camera. In this way, visitors are invited to record their own band performance in the UBS Video Box and share it with those at home. This will give them the chance to win a VIP package for four for the Montreux Jazz Festival 2019.
