Remote massage for organic cows

Thjnk Zurich held a live promo for Bio Suisse in the Sihlcity shopping center: Visitors could give cows a remote massage at the push of a button - and received organic milk as a gift in return.

Visitors to a Zurich shopping center recently could hardly believe their eyes: at the touch of a button, they could massage dairy cows on an organic farm 50 km away in Lucerne with a cow brush. And they could do it in real time. The brush on the farm started up as soon as the button in the shopping center was activated. Those who pressed the button received a gift of organic milk from the cows as a thank you. The motto of the campaign was: "Make the cow happy. And the cow makes you happy."

The welfare of the animals on Knospe farms has a particularly high priority. In addition to organic feed and species-appropriate husbandry, cow brushes also play an important role. The swinging brushes keep the cows clean, healthy and increase their well-being.

As part of the traditional Alpabzug, Bio Suisse circulates a charming short documentary that captures the real-time action. Programs were developed especially for the project, which set up a websocket connection between the locations and thus enabled the video signal as well as the command to start the cow brush in milliseconds. A total of six film cameras captured the action.

The live action is part of the Bio-Suisse campaign "Everything is connected somehow"which shows that every action of the consumer is related to organic farming - in this case directly.
