In the past few days, numerous people in Switzerland had received this mailing. The contents of the envelope were exclusively a sheet of paper with the logo of the Yes campaign for the limitation initiative. The letter had been dispatched by the German post office. The personally addressed letter was also addressed to people who had been deceased for years.

The SVP Switzerland and the campaign management of the limitation initiative dissociated themselves "in all form from this letter," the party wrote. The SVP Switzerland assumes that it is "an action by political opponents with the intention of damaging the limitation initiative. (SDA)
